After School Excellence Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy Program is primarily designed for children ages 5-12. Children in this program typically receive 12-15 hours of ABA therapy per week. We utilize a variety of Applied Behavior Analysis strategies to help school-aged children learn critical skills like initiating requests and social interactions, answering social questions, independence, self-regulation, social play, waiting, taking turns, and more.
The therapists work on discrete trials, incidental teaching, structured play activities, and social skill development. The After School Excellence Program is designed to work together with the intervention parents provide at home. The importance of this is due to the number of therapy hours each week is often less than the standard recommended 25-35 hours of ABA per week.
